Blade Design is the one option on our paddles that is purely style based. The performance will not be effected by the Blade Design, it is up to your own taste. You can choose from three basic designs, Feathered, Vertical, and Pinstripe.
Feathered is our original design with the paddle blade being made up of angled pieces that create a "feathered" look to the paddle. The positioning of the pieces is random which makes each paddle one of a kind. This feathered design is unique to Holz Canoes and makes for a very decorative design. A Vertical Blade Design consists of a paddle blade with vertical or lengthwise strips of wood. Our Pinstripe Blade Design includes accent strips of lighter wood between each vertical strip and a light trim around the entire blade after the shape has been cut.
