Holz Canoe Paddles Decorative Ornamental Wood Canoe Paddles are a beautiful addition to any decor in your home or cabin. Decorative or Ornamental Paddles are available with a hand drawn pencil designs or with a custom printed images. Each Decorative Canoe Paddle is roughly 45" and constructed of Red Cedar with your choice of Red Cedar, Basswood, or Poplar paddle blade (examples below show Poplar, Basswood, and Cedar from top to bottom). NOTE: While Cedar is a more decorative blade, hand drawn objects and scenes tend to show up in less detail.
After the art work is added to the paddle blade, the paddles are then sealed and protected with multiple coats of polyurethane and wall mounting hardware is installed. Each Decorative Paddle is signed and dated by the creators Joe Holz and/or Dan Holz and includes a Certificate of Authentication affixed to the back of the paddle so you know its a true Holz Canoe Paddle. (Decorative paddles are not designed for in water use!)
Also, add custom woodburning to any paddle.
